Last week we traveled to Verdun, where we arrived on Wednesday the 24th of July. Family arrived the next day. This circumstance, combined with the heatwave, kept us from creating a 'normal' blog-page. Of course we, our two young grandsons included, visited the grounds of the most devastating battle of The Great War - the Battle of Verdun. More next week.
