Henk (Henricus Simon Antonius) Mocking

We've been in Leeuwarden from the 6th of May through the 2nd of June because one of our brothers (in law) appeared to be terminally ill and needed 24/7 care. His sisters and brothers (in law) took care of him. We selected Leeuwarden because of the good train-connection from there to where he lived, the centre of The Netherlands. He died peacefully on the 24th of May at the age of 67. Understandably all of us still mourn about his far too early decease.

Henk (pronounced like Hank in English), sitting at the front-deck of our narrowboat, when visiting us in the UK in 2009 - accompanied by our sister (in law) Mary. (Great Bedwyn, Kennet and Avon Canal.)

A load of nostalgia to end with. Henk ┼ (left), our mother Corrie ┼ (Cornelia Hendrika, 1914 - 2007) our youngest sister Mary ┼ (Maria Catharina Alida, 1955 - 2017) and youngest brother John (1953). Noordwijk, 1960.
