The cruising season started on Sunday the 11th of April (today). For us, that is, as we dealt with family matters (birthdays) as well as our first COVID-19 jab. Here's a picture of the happy crew, taken by our passenger during the first leg. © Inge Molenkamp

We left more or less at 11:00AM sharp and reached our intended destination, just behind the Male-foot(and bike!)bridge around an hour later. So far we are the only ones here. We intend to stay for 3 nights. Tranquility! Bliss (for the dog)! (And for free. Yes, that too.)

Our guest surprised D. with an apple pie. She, D., insisted all three of us to enjoy it, which we duly did. To S. she gave a charming little jug, containing a 'Twents Bittertje'. That's probably comparable to the more famous 'Juttertje'. Mmmmm. The alcohol-percentage is 14,95, obviously approved of by Jay. © Inge Molenkamp

After a very pleasant get-together our guest left us to walk back to Amersfoort. As you'll understand she is a keen walker.
